MIPS | Malaysian Informatics And Programming Society

The Malaysian Informatics and Programming Society (MIPS) is pleased to be organizing the Malaysia Computing Olympiad (MCO) Training Camp during the upcoming December school holidays.

The objective of this camp is to train students in C++ programming and algorithmic thinking in preparation for the MCO 2023. MCO 2023 is a algorithmic programming competition that will be the next selection process for the Malaysian national team to the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2023. The MCO will be held tentatively in April 2023.

The training camp is open only to the Gold, Silver and Bronze medallists in MCC 2022. Due to space and manpower constraints, we can only host a limited number of students. Please note that attending this camp is optional. MCC 2022 medalists who decide not to attend this camp will still qualify for MCO 2023 if they fulfill all the requirements.

In order to apply, please fill in the Google form that has been emailed to all MCC medallists.

Participants can choose to join in-person at UTAR or virtually via Zoom.

9-11 December 2022 (Fri-Sun), 9AM to 5PM every day.
