- 31 Aug 2026 (Mon): Registration opens.
- 21 Oct 2026 (Wed): Registration deadline.
- 30 Oct 2026 (Fri): Payment deadline.
- 31 Oct 2026 (Sat) 00:00 (GMT+8): MCC 2026 begins.
- 1 Nov 2026 (Sun) 23:59 (GMT+8): MCC 2026 ends.
What is MCC?
The MCC (Malaysian Computing Challenge) is an annual online competition designed to evaluate participants’ computational thinking abilities.
No programming knowledge is needed to get started: a decent number of points can be earned without code, making this a good place to start learning! However, coding will likely be required to be competitive.
MCC is also the first round in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) Malaysian team selection process. See the Beyond MCC section in the information page for more information.

The fee is RM30 per participant.
