Contest Rules
Please read the APIO 2026 Official Rules.
In particular:
- Internet access is not allowed except to access the contest website.
- Each contestant is allowed to extract and to use any code written before the competition, as long as the code is written by the contestant. Extracting any other information (e.g. viewing others’ codes, searchiing for solutions, reading blogs for theoretical concepts, …) from the Internet is prohibited.
- Searching for past solutions online during the competition is not allowed.
- Books and notes are not allowed during the competition.
- The use of AI tools is not allowed.
- VS Code users must disable Copilot before the contest. Go to settings and search for
